Day 17: Supper with Dad, Granny, Grandpa, Uncle Matt, and Aunt Mary for Dad's and Uncle Matt's birthday. (Dad's not quite a year older than Uncle Matt. 363 days.) Dad grilled steaks -- he makes the BEST flat-iron steaks -- and I made some Suddenly Pasta -- my favorite pasta salad -- and a banana cream pie. I am not really a fan of banana cream pie, but it was pretty delicious, if I do say so myself.
Days 18 & 19: Not too eventful. Spent Tuesday with Jennifer and then came home for family night.
Day 20: First day back on the phones at work. My voice did not appreciate it. Got a nice little text that made me smile for the next two days though.
Day 21: Got my new schedule at work. Thanks to the fact that a previous coach of a fellow rep apparently doesn't know how to score, I missed the schedule I wanted. 3:15 - Midnight, Monday - Friday. Bleh. As soon as a mini-bid opens up, I'm taking it. I'm sick of working late.
Day 22: Got news today that Josh left Lori and they're getting a divorce. This made me really upset; after being friends with someone for almost 12 years, it doesn't matter how often you see or talk to them. News like this is always hard to take.

Days 12 - 16
From this weekend's PostSecrets: (makes me think of Punk Rock Princess by Something Corporate.)

Days 12-15: Went back to work since I have my voice back. I'm pretty much just supporting the team since I can't log into a computer yet. That will probably continue this week, but it's why I haven't been updating as much.
Day 16: Saw Book of Eli with Matt. Amazing movie! I want to go see it again. I think it's definitely worth seeing in the theater. Went to game night with his community group afterwards, and that was a lot of fun.
Maybe there will be more excitement between days 17-23. Sigh.

Days 10 & 11

(^ from last saturday's postsecret.)
With there not being much to report, I'm finding it's easier to post every other day for the time being. As long as I'm not missing anything.
Day 10: Elizabeth got back together with Chad. Super glad for her -- I know she'll be much happier now that they've talk through everything and get to be together.
Day 11: Went back to work. Spent the day nesting and mentoring, which I'll be doing for the next two weeks.

Days 8 & 9
Day 8: nothing to recount. bleh.
Day 9: went with Matt to Kali and Jarrod's. Learned how to play a card game called Pitch. Good fun. :)

Days 6 & 7
Absolutely nothing to report for Day 6.
Day 7 has only sub-zero windchill temperatures to boast.
I've decided the problem is winter. It gets so cold here in the winter that nothing happens because it's too cold for anything to be eventful or blogworthy.

Day 5
Day Five was a busy day.
Got up and showered, then headed over to Granny's to do the grocery shopping with her and Aunt Becky. After that, went back to Granny's house and cleaned the upstairs. Grandpa had a doctor's appointment and I know that stresses her out so hopefully coming home to a clean house was a little bit of a de-stresser.
They got back from the doctor around five, just as I was finishing the dishes. Granny and I just relaxed after that. Had fried mashed potatoes (SO good!) and watched a movie.
The cleaning roll continues into today ...

Days 3 & 4
Well, it didn't take long to miss a day, did it? That's actually not a big deal; Sundays are usually relatively uneventful. Wake up, get around, grocery shop with Granny, write or watch a movie for the afternoon, eat dinner, go home, wind down, bed.
One thing I do like about Sundays is the new PostSecrets entries. There gets to be some pretty cool stuff on there. All right, I don't know if cool is how I would label all of the secrets on there, but interesting for sure.
Yesterday ... what happened yesterday? Oh, yeah. I went to the ENT and found out that I have a really bad allergy to something and the drainage is irritating my vocal box and that's why I haven't been able to talk for the last three weeks. I have some Claritin and best case scenario, I should have a voice in 3-4 days. I'm crossing my fingers ... not that I'm excited to go back to work, but I'll be excited to pay the bills!
Seth was right. My life is pretty boring.
